Job Description:
Cerner is excited to hire Production Software Engineer I. As a PSE, you should be able to troubleshoot and analyze basic technical coding issues submitted by internal or external clients. Own, debug and document basic investigations and resolution of issues within code base using varied technical techniques, including modifying existing software code. Perform root cause analysis, help in identifying problem areas, make recommendations to development teams. Communicate with internal and external clients and teams on issue resolution. Create code-based queries and development testing tools. Consult with clients to understand problems and requests for additional information. Develop knowledge of assigned solution, technologies, development processes and ecosystem.
Job Responsibilities:
The position offers a Hybrid or Remote working environment. Meaning if you live within a metro area of a Cerner office, you will split working time between a Cerner office and remote. If you are not within a metro area of a Cerner office, you can live and work in your current geographical location and work primarily remote.
Preferred skill:
Engineer graduate or MCA graduate with basic knowledge on big data and programming skills.
